At KingsView School we cater for Year 1-8 students from Queenstown and surrounding communities. We are a state integrated Christian school which means we teach the New Zealand curriculum from a Christian point of view. We are committed to small class sizes and have a dedicated team, made up of teachers, learning assistants and support staff, who support and care for our students, encouraging them to fulfil our school values and reach their potential in all areas of their lives.
Our school’s vision is to enR.I.C.H each child’s gifts and talents.
We go about achieving this vision through four main elements:
If you think that KingsView could be a good fit for your child and family, I invite you to contact the office – office@kingsview.school.nz or 03 451 1444, to book a talk and tour, I’d love to show you around.

This edition of KingsView community notices contains:
Do you want to be a part of helping to shape the future of KingsView?
We are holding our next KingsView Connect – Parent Hui on Wednesday 18th of June at 3:15pm - 4:30pm in the hall.
This term’s hui will focus on gathering your ideas to build our 2026–2028 Strategic Plan.
The students have had a chance to share their vision, and inviting parents input is an important part of building our plan for the next 3 years.
Light refreshments will be provided and childcare will be available – please reply to this notice or email asc@kingsview.school.nz and let the team know how many children will be attending after school care. Under 5's are welcome.
Kia ora KingsView Community,
As the weather cools down, it’s a good time to remind everyone of our Adverse Weather Procedure here at KingsView School.
If weather and road conditions are deemed unsafe, a group made up of local principals, Go Bus, Downer (road maintenance), QLDC, and our School Board will collaborate to decide whether individual schools remain open, close, or open with a delayed start. This decision will be communicated to you via Skool Loop and Facebook by 7:30am at the latest.
A reminder: we are not a zoned school, meaning our students travel from across the Wakatipu Basin—Cromwell, Kingston, Glenorchy, and everywhere in between.
All decisions are made with great care, with the safety of our community as the number one priority.
Now is a great time to ensure all families enrolled at KingsView School have downloaded and are connected to the Skool Loop app.
Ngā mihi,
Amos Pilgrim
