                                                                                                                                                                                                      Dear Parents and Caregivers

As I finish this newsletter I find myself in the middle of a lockdown in Christchurch. This is a tragic event and we give thanks to God that this type of thing is a rare occurrence in New Zealand. Our hearts and prayers go out to the families affected by this dreadful event.

I unfortunately don’t have class happenings to share this week but promise to include some of the wonderful things that the kids have been doing lately.

Please pray for the families of Christchurch as they struggle to understand yet another tragedy in their City.

Community consultation meeting.

KingsView School, Wednesday 3rd of April 6:30 pm

It is expected that this will be finished by 8:00pm

On Wednesday the 3rd of April I plan to hold a meeting for all those interested to work through and finalise the School Virtues we have been investigating since last term. We will look at the results from the parent survey, Board of Trustees, Teachers and also what the students think. Armed with this information we will try to streamline and decide on the 4 Virtues that we will build our religious instruction curriculum around. This is an exciting time to really refine what it means to be a Kingsview student.
