Dear Parents and Caregivers
I am planning to start adding happenings and successes into the newsletter each week.
Noah Novacek continues to shine in the Junior golf world and as you receive this he is in a tournament in Australia. Noah certainly has a treasure chest of talent filled with golfing ability and is ranked in the top 25 world wide for under 16 age students. We wish and pray that Noah continues to grow and develop this talent to reach his goal of joining the Professional ranks.
Today in school we started a Peer reading programme. This type of the programme sees students in the teach and be taught roles as they work with a fellow student. The teachers have set them up with criteria for the session as they support each other to grow their reading ability. I have included some of pictures.
Kahui Ako o Wakatipu

I am pleased to announce we are making a couple of adjustments to the school uniform. We are going to add grey track pants for the winter months and a skort for the girls to provide an alternative to the pinafore. The skort has the same colours and pattern as the pinafore. These are available along with the other uniform at The Warehouse and the code for the skort is 70744. Again along with the other uniform this is the SchoolTex -school wear. Picture attached. www.thewarehouse.co.nz/c/schools search for KingsView School.
The grey track pants are just plain and you can purchase these from a shop of your choice. They do not need to be expensive, designer track pants. Both boys and girls can wear these.
Order form link below is for hoodies and sports tops.
PE day will be every Thursday this term so please send the children along in PE clothing.
If your child does not have the school sport top yet then they should wear a top of similar colour (blue) and blue or black shorts or tights. Running shoes are essential.
If you have any uniform you would like to donate to the school, please drop this at school and it can be added to the supply.
No payment is required for this uniform; however a donation would be much appreciated.

Sizing charts below.
CHILDREN’S’ SIZING – I measured this sizing against a sweatshirt from last year and the sizing is the same. Please check your child’s measurements.
ADULT SIZING – These may be suitable for tall students/Seniors or students who like a roomy fitting sweatshirt.
Please note. Our tops will be the same colour and branding as the tops we curently have.
THESE TOPS HAVE SMALLER SIZING THAN THE SWEATSHIRTS.
As you can see, a size 14 hoodie is a width measurement of 51cm. The PE top size 14 is 47cm across. If your child likes a looser top or is tall you may want to order an adult’s size.
